There is three main spots in isla:

1. El Farito:
Great for beginners as is only 1 to 6 feet deep, just floating your way along the reef full of colorful tropical fishes and amazing coral reefs

2. Manchones reef:
One of the most incredible and living reefs, is full of colorful fishes and crystal-clear warm waters 12 to 30 feet deep

3. Musa:
In 2009 a monumental underwater contemporary museum of art called MUSA (Museo Sub acuático de Arte) was formed in the waters surrounding Cancun, Isla Mujeres, The Museum aims to demonstrate the interaction between art and environmental science and form part of a complex reef structure for marine life to colonize and inhabit whilst increasing biomass on a grand scale. All of the sculptures are fixed to the seabed and made from specialized materials used to promote coral life. The total installations occupy an area of over 420sq meters of barren substrate and weighing in at over 200 tons

a) Punta Sam (Isla Mujeres Mainland) for people staying In Cancun, costa Mujeres and all mayan riviera

b) Isla mujeres for people already staying in Isla Mujeres

we meet at 8:45 in Isla Mujeres and 9am in isla Mujeres Mainland (cancun side) departure by 9:15 to go to Contoy Island, before we arrive we will make a snorkel stop at ¨ISLAXE¨ reef, which is part of the second largest reef chain in the world.
After snorkel we will reach the paradisiac island where you can visit in our walking tour for the museum and surrounds or enjoy the snow white sandy beaches while we are cooking Fish Mayan style ¨Tikin Xic¨

AFter a few hours on the island and after lunch we will head back to Isla Mujeres, we should be back by 3 pm or so. people coming from mainland will have about 90 minutes visit to isla mujeres downtown

Get ready to check this off of your bucket list, there’s no experience quite like swimming with whale sharks. Get up close to these gentle giants and make lasting memories on this wonderful trip.

Itinerary – If you are staying in Cancun, Isla Mujeres mainland Costa mujeres and all Mayan Riviera, you don´t have to come to Isla but you may stay at it.
We´ll pick you up at your hotel’s lobby in one of our comfortable, modern, air-conditioned vehicles whether you are staying in Cancun, Isla Mujeres mainland Costa Mujeres or Playa del Carmen. From there, we´ll take you to our meeting point for registration and a continental breakfast consisting in coffee, tea, a fruit, a cookie and yogurt. After breakfast, registration and remaining payments, by 8:00 am we will be ready to get on board and go on expedition to swim with whale sharks!

We start our boat expedition traveling north for about 50 minutes to reach the feeding grounds. We´ll spend around 2.5 hours snorkeling and swimming with the whale sharks with a certified guide at all times, taking turns of 2 people per jump with the guide, each jump time will depend on each person physically strength. With a little luck, we´ll get to see some manta rays, too!
After this unique experience, we´ll provide sandwiches as we head back. We´ll stop at the north beach of Isla Mujeres for a delicious fish ceviche and chips, however, if we end close to Contoy Island and a really nice reef such as “Ixlaché” we may trade north beach for this beautiful and very alive reef snorkel.
We will be back at terminal around 1:00 pm.

Itinerary Details – If you are coming or already in Isla Mujeres.
If you don´t have a golf cart or vehicle don´t worry, we will send a taxi to pick you up included in your ticket. (If your lodging place has a dock, we can pick you up at it by skipping breakfast)

At 8:00 am not before, we will be waiting for you at our meeting point located down by the colonia electricistas, so we are 2 km from downtown and 5 from south end for registration and a continental breakfast consisting of coffee, tea, fruit, toast and butter, and pastries,

around 8:30 am we should start getting on board the boats to get us directly to the whale sharks’ area ¨We are not taking you to mainland or cancun area to pick up more people¨
